Specializing in abdominal surgery, dr Bekic commenced her career working at the University Clinical Center Niš in 2020, and joined the Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery in 2021, following her passion for laparoscopic abdominal surgery. She is actively engaged in her professional development, having attended numerous conferences focusing on herniology and abdominal surgery, both domestically and internationally. In 2022, dr Bekic pursued specialized education in peritoneal dialysis in Hungary, further enhancing her expertise and enabling the highest standards of care for patients with kidney failure suitable for peritoneal dialysis.
